Dustin's Information shall remain private concerning his personal life beyond the scope of this memorial page due to conflict within his personal life & family members!
Dustin joined RebelSlave by invitation around August of 2020 after attending his stepsister's wedding.
Dustin's stepsister Crenna, married Jeremiah Cole Epler ~ Founder and lead voice of RebelSlave.
Dustin and Jeremiah soon found a common interest in playing guitars and the two had an instant musical magic between them and the introduction of DBO as the lead guitarist was just chemistry in the making for the future growth of the band RebelSlave!
A very unfortunate tragedy and loss interrupted the future endeavors of Dustin's contribution of creative music involvement with his RebelSlave bandmates!
It was with heavy heart that we announce that Dustin Boggess aka DBO passed 07:02 in the morning hours on May the 7th 2021!
He fought hard, but in the end his injuries were too much!
The band was overcome with the tragic news and eventually the loss of family member and the lead guitar player Dustin Boggess (AKA DBO), due to a home explosion that Dustin often stayed over with at friends on April 12th, 2021.
Dustin and 7 other individuals made it out of the tragic accident with their lives barely - Some landed in intensive care and others in critical care!
Dustin suffered more burns after heroically re-entering the structure to rescue a 2-year-old little girl!
Both made it out alive - however their injuries landed them both in critical care!
Unfortunately, the decision to pull the life support plug was made against our wishes by his 2-year estranged spouse on 5/6/2021 with staff insisting he would pass within minutes of discontinuing life support - Our Dustin Passed 22 hours later on 5/7/2021 It is our belief he was fighting for his life!
With grief so heavy upon us, RebelSlave has not yet recovered to our full potential due to our sudden loss of our family member and band member!
DBO was very passionate about music and being invited into the band RebelSlave!
For so many reasons we miss his physical presence but the spirit of his crazy ADHD characteristics will forever be a part of our music therapy session!
